~Me~

Been obsessed with books and writing since I was 8 years old. Then I lost it when I pursued writing in college. Now, I'm trying to find that drive again.

Broken-Hearted

When I reached school, I sat where I always do and waited around for class to start. But I had a sudden feeling to look at the block across. My heart almost burst when I saw my crush there and I know I should be all happy and excited but I was actually burst into tears T_T Why? Because my friend said he's with someone now. I know I didn't see it with my own eyes but I wouldn't have broke a tear if he wasn't.

Taking Up Cheerleading

I may not be one of the most fit or flexible or even pretty girls in school but I am going to take up our school's first cheerleading club. I felt so pumped when I heard about it until I didn't have any spirits to go handball or even think about homework and the week felt really long because of the cheerleading club idea. For three straight days I talked about cheerleading ONLY! I thought my friends would get annoyed so I shut the cheerleading idea and that's how the week felt really, really, really long...
At first, it says cheerleading club which means that anyone can join and nobody gets turned down but the organizer said there'd be an audition for cheerleading. I was so shocked! Besides annoying my friends, the audition thing is why my spirits are down and the week felt long. If it was a club, it means that no one gets excluded but included. If thy want to make a squad, sure they could but not turn down anyone. Just like my handball club. I'm a member but not in the girls team. If there were someone who was injured during practice and there's not enough cheerleaders, then the other members would take their place. Totally makes sense.
Besides, the organizer did say anyone can join and benefits of joining are better dance skills, learn basic cheer move and an easy confidence boost. Another thing is that not every girl wants to join. I would know 'cos I asked around and they said they're not interested.
For this week, I've been doing some cheerleading training and watching cheer moves and chants online. Really helpful tips and moves by Expert Village. I've also been trying to make my own cheerleader diet and did some yoga for flexibility so i can be able to do splits, cartwheels and handstands.
Important: Cheerleading is a real sport.

Vampire Kisses

A vampiric, gothic love novel series for freak teens like me and its main character, Raven. Although I only read a full version of only Coffin Club and the first few parts of the other books I find the series really cool and freaked. Comparing it to Twilight, Vampire Kisses is more romantic despite being a super gothic book but because of the gothness the series is a total thriller. The vampiric adventures in the series are more risky and interesting than the ones in Twilight. Those adventures is what makes it such a thriller. Reading it makes me spooked and made my heart sank as if I saw the person I love. The romance and chemistry between the two main character, Raven and Alexander, is so strong it makes you want to read more and find out what their love takes them into. If only they made a movie out of it.
The experience I had reading Vampire Kisses gave me a real feel and expression of what the book truly speaks of. Sometimes it makes me think about my crush in school and that I shouldn't just let fate decide everything for me. I have my doubts and tears about the book but its so great I wouldn't stop. Most of the time, I'd tear up because it feels like someone stabbed me in heart when I think about my crush.
Point is, Vampire Kisses is WAY more thrilling and romantic than any vampire romance novel. And I'm not just saying 'cos I'm an emo/goth.

Love or Like?

Like any other normal (girly) teen, I have my own messed up love story. And I'm not even sure if it is love. I bet other teens don't have to hide themselves so much from the person they adore, unlike me. Everybody's little love story doesn't hang on only one person, instead they move on to another. I guess that's like but what if they do hang on one person? Would that one person be their "true love"?
It's been more than a year since I first saw and adored my one-in-heart guy. The first time I saw him I was truly, truly speechless and almost breathless. I saw him and adored him because I thought he was almost like me-quiet, shy, mysterious, always kept to ourselves. At least, we used to be... Until the end of my first year in school I watched and stared at him every passing day I arrive at school. On my second, I didn't get much more than a glance once or twice a week.
Getting desperate, I volunteered to look after the school store so I could see him whenever he has recess. Unfortunately, he never sat on the same spot after my first day. I wasn't bummed out so I kept working. And one day made all those other days worth while. He slowly put his fingers on my palm and let go of the money when he paid for the objective papers. As an added bonus: I heard his adoringly rough but sweet voice.
The love story's quiet this year. I guess I don't wanna concentrate so much on him or he could just be being extra careful avoiding me. Go figure. From time to time, I'd see him a distant behind me or going an opposite direction from me. I was filled with disappointment. But some things just lift my spirits today. All I can say I saw him across the school field and stared him for as long as I could. I think I even saw him stare back at me with some focus and concentration.
What could my life be? All I know is I'm a total different from anybody.

Valentine's Day

In about an hour Valentine's Day would totally be over and we'd have to wait another year for the next Valentine's Day. Y'know, I had high expectations on things I know wouldn't happen on Valentine's Day. The thing is before V Day I felt as if I liked -or love?- the guy I used to have a crush on ever since I was Form 1. I don't know why I had this sudden desire to talk to him, to think about him and to see him face to face. For that reason I wasted a weekend trying to make a valentine gift that wouldn't be sent. I feel like such an idiot!
I thought it meant something when I'd see him around and heard his name, like it was a sign or somewhat. I almost dreamed about him on the night of the day when I saw him not a distant away behind me. In that almost-a-dream I saw him pull my arm and laid an unexpected kiss on my lips however in a second of that kiss, I punched him real hard he tripped and almost fell into the drain. Luckily, that sweet dream showed I caught his arm before he fell in and ran away with cheeks flushed red.
So I anticipated that scene to happen on what I had hoped to have been the most greatest day of my 15-year-old life. Unfortunately, it never happened and I was deeply disappointed. I wished he knew about it. He would've have done it if he likes me the way I like him. That way, it wouldn't be so hard for him to konw what's in my mind.

Broken-hearted Friend

I absolutely cannot believe this: three of my best friends are completely sure they are going to transfer to another school. I know they don't want to but they must. Two of them had to go away because they can't stay in Kuching anymore and the other is going to stay in a boarding school with her brother because of family problems.
Arine has to be in Bintangor with her parents and study in either a chinese school or a boarding school there while Natasha just couldn't stand the heat between her and her dad without her brother so she's going to SM Teknik Sejingkat. Last of all, Haizutul is the last to tell me this kind of news and is the first to go. She has to go Limbang because her dad is transferred there. Why must all of them go to a faraway place?
They have been the longest and truest friends I've ever had and I don't know who to be around with if I hadn't met them .I considered transferring to my mother's school but I'm afraid I might regret it. I don't even know why since I won't have anything to make me stay anymore. I'll just go back to being a lonely emo girl like I used to be in Year 6.
When growing up you'll lose friends you would always miss and keep in your heart. I hate the cruel truth of it all.

To Love or Not To Love?

On the day I got my keyboard I wanted to remember the face of the guy in the music shop. I felt deep in my heart a wanting to meet him over and over again. It bothers me that I couldn't stop thinking about him night and day. My heart would beat really fast at the thought of him.
When we entered the shop the first person I saw was him and he wore a leather jacket that made him look like Adam Lambert. He was the one who showed us my keyboard, brought it out, tested it and everything. I didn't dare stand near him until my mom pushed me next to him to see if the keyboard works right. I smiled widely with fake intentions. The smile wasn't about the keyboard but for him. He, too, smiled at it even through the whole time we were there. The butterflies kept flying in my stomach. I had to drag my sister around laughing and joking around with me to avoid him noticing my true intentions.
The keyboard was heavy so he brought it to the car for us. Oh My God!! My nervous level skyrocketed especially when we took the elevator down and the elevator was really small. Outside, my mom took the car around so, the three of us waited for her. My heart was beating faster then. I'm so lucky it didn't took long for my mom to drive her car around.
On that day I heard his voice that was just as mesmerizing as his eyes and smile. I'm so lucky I went to there to buy my keyboard. After that day, I try to think about him everyday and try remember his face every night before I sleep. Unfortunately, I failed to remember anything about him unless something triggered my memory.
